***I am looking into the possibility of organizing our first ever Robidoux Family Powwow!!  I am still looking into details but believe it would likely be a two day event over a weekend, and open only to family members at this time. The host state for our first event will be Oklahokma, home to our Otoe-Missouria cousins, but the event will be open to all of our Robidoux cousins who dance or sing, or drum! The site we are looking at has RV access, camping, electricity and is a short drive away to a town that has accomodations, restaurants, etc.  I have set up a poll question to determine if there is significant interest  - if you have any further comments please do not hesitate to email me at desroches11@hotmail.com***

***Rana is looking for donated items which can be used for our silent auction for our next reunion in Winnipeg.  The money raised from the auction will help fund our efforts in planning further family events as well as our reunions. Veuillez nous joindre en célébrant la vie de Louis Robidoux, le frère de Joseph, le fondateur de la rue Joseph, Missouri. L'événement va être tenu à l'auberge historique de mission, avec des taux de pièce réglés à $139.00 par nuit.                             CALLING ALL COOKS!!

RANA fundraiser— Calling all cooks and bakers!!  RANA is preparing to produce a Robidoux Family Cookbook.  We are looking for original family recipes handed down through the generations.  If you do not have an old family recipe, but still wish to contribute, please feel free to send us a recipe of your favorite dish.  Once complete, the books will be available for sale at the 2008 reunion in California, or via mail order.  Please send entries to Kim Desroches, 3053 Lina St, Val Caron, Ontario, Canada, P3N 1C9.

Genealogy is my Past time
